Inna Henry is a lactation consultant dedicated to making feeding a new child a stress-, pain-, and judgment-free experience. She offers in-office and in-home consults where she creates individualized care plans that achieve the goals of the whole family. The family’s mental and emotional wellbeing are the highest priority in every plan.
Inna welcomes families who are interested in chest feeding, inducing lactation, or who want to explore alternative feeding options in a safe environment.
Inna studied human lactation at the University of California, San Diego, completed her clinical hours at Kaiser Woodland Hills, and trained in frenulum inspection at the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy. She is also the education coordinator for BreastfeedLA, helping to advance the knowledge-base of lactation consultants in LA County and beyond. Prior to becoming a lactation consultant, Inna earned an MBA with a focus on Systems Thinking from the Presidio Graduate School and a degree in Conservation and Resource Studies from University of California, Berkeley. Her background allows her to pull from multiple modalities and understand the complexities that parents are facing.
Inna is mom to a spirited little girl and enjoys spending her time exploring the outdoors and dreaming of being a farmer.
We have a 1 1/2 month old grandson whose mom says she doesn’t have enough breast milk & has supplemented with formula which she keeps changing
for reasons I’m unclear. Do you have a suggestion for a formula? I had hoped she wouldn’t have to supplement but being the mother-in-law I don’t
want to interfere aside from inquiring. I breast fed both children & know the value of it.
That would be best to speak with your Pediatrician about
